National Affordable Housing Project and Infrastructure Development, Pokuase – Afiaman

The Government of Ghana in its efforts to tackling the Country’s chronic housing shortage launched a revised national affordable housing programme dubbed “My Home, My Peace”

The project is aimed at reducing the cost of housing units by absorbing the land and infrastructure cost component that comes with constructing affordable houses for citizens of the country.

The infrastructure cost includes the construction of a 5.34 km combined burnt bricks and sandcrete block fence wall, about 12 km of new roads, reconstruction of 2km of existing roads, 17.3km of drainage works, external electrical and plumbing works, horticultural & landscaping works, and sewage works.

The project is situated on a 203-acre land, at Pokuase – Afiaman within the Ga North Municipality of the Greater Accra region.
